Kakadu Plum Liquid Herbal Extract
The Kakadu Plum (also known as Gubinge or Billy Goat Plum) grows in the north of Australia and has been applied to the skin as well as eaten by Aboriginal people for thousands of years. It is contained in our products as part of our native plant complex. Each plum contains up to 4% ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), the highest know natural source in the world. Vitamin C is an important antioxidant in skin care as it helps prevent the breakdown of collagen.
Lilly Pilly Liquid Herbal Extract
The beneficial properties of this bush plant are well known by Indigenous Australians. The Lilly Pilly liquid herbal extract is a powerful antioxidant, high in vitamin C and fruit acid, helping maintain skin health and develop collagen. It also contains astringent properties which improve the firmness and elasticity of the skin. The Lilly Pilly extract is present in all our products as part of our native plant complex.
Quandong Liquid Herbal Extract
The Quandong (also known as Desert Peach) is highly moisturising for skin. Used as a food source by Aboriginal people, it is known to possess good antioxidant and antibacterial properties due to high levels of vitamin C. This plant extract is contained in all of our products as part of our native plant extract complex.
Davidons Plum Liquid Herbal Extract
A rainforest tree from Tropical Far North Queensland produces dark plum like fruit found to have a high vitamin C and polyphenol content specifically anthocyanidins which help to control inflammation. Davidson’s Plum liquid herbal extract is contained within our native plant complex in all of our products for its moisturising and antioxidant properties.
Palmitoyl Hydrolysed Wheat Protein
This natural ingredient is a wheat bio-protein that stimulates vital skin cells, helping to prevent skin ageing. It has moisturizing properties and maintains natural skin acidity. It works by relaxing your skin to smooth out wrinkles and also re-densifying your skin to permanently reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
Lemon Myrtle Essential Oil
Lemon Myrtle essential oil is used in many of our products to provide a natural perfume described as a blend of lemongrass, lime and lemon. As well as the wonderful aroma, this oil contains very high levels of citral and possesses very good antibacterial, antimicrobial and antifungal properties.
Australian Nerolina Oil
Nerolina Essential Oil possesses a woody yet floral aroma reminiscent to lavender. It is used in our Walnut Husk Exfoliator and Body Moisturiser to contribute to their aroma.
Lemon Scented Tea Tree Oil
One of many different varieties of Tea Tree found in Australia, this oil contains anti-viral and anti-fungal properties. Lemon scented Tea Tree oil also has a nice lemon fragrance that is more complete than lemon or lemongrass.
Macadamia Seed Oil
High in essential fatty acids, Macadamia seed oil is easily absorbed into the skin and has wonderful moisturising and softening properties. It protects cell membranes and promotes skin elasticity due to the high level of palmitoleic acid that resembles the sebum found in skin.
Avocado Oil
Avocado oil nourishes the skin due to its high content of essential fatty acids. It is a very penetrating oil that is able to transport active ingredients into your skin. It can help repair and protect skin due to its richness in lecithin and vitamins.
Bisabolol
Derived from chamomile, this ingredient helps soothe, soften, and hydrate the skin. It has anti-inflammatory properties that calm and soothe the skin.
Coconut Oil
Coconut oil has a light texture. It is soothing on the skin whilst also softening and conditioning. It is moisturising and can protect your skin helping to retain moisture. This oil is very mild and great for people with sensitive skin.
Evening Primrose Oil
Evening Primrose oil is one of the most concentrated sources of gamma-linoleic acid (GLA), and essential fatty acid with anti-ageing and anti-inflammatory properties. It is also rich in Omega 6 essential fatty acids and antioxidants, which help to rebalance dryness and increase elasticity of your skin.
Lecithin
A natural Soybean extract, Lecithin it is good natural emulsifier that also has water binding properties that help in balancing moisture in the skin. It also nurtures skin by softening, toning, and moisturising.
Patchouli Essential Oil
Patchouli essential oil has a rich aroma and is used in some of our products to provide a depth to their aroma.
Rosehip Oil
This lightweight oil is rich in essential fatty acids (omega 3 and 6) including oleic, linoleic and linolenic acids. These fatty acids are anti-inflammatory and are deeply hydrating for the skin. Rosehip oil is known for its skin restorative, hydrating and balancing properties. It also contains vitamin C to increase your skins collagen production.
Safflower Seed Oil
Safflower seed oil is high in linoleic acid, a fatty acid that has anti-inflammatory properties as well as being good at retaining moisture. Safflower seed oils properties aid in moisturising, protecting and nurturing the skin.
Sea Buckthorn Oil
Sea Buckthorn oil contains a high content of nutrients essential for metabolism and regeneration of skin cells. Sea Buckthorn oil is a very effective anti-ageing ingredient, containing natural antioxidants and essential fatty acids to help fight wrinkles, dryness, and age spots, improving your skin.
Squalane
Made from Mediterranean olive oil, Squalane has protective properties to the skin to stop moisture loss. It also improves skin elasticity and hydration whilst delivering active ingredients into the skin.
Sunflower Seed Oil
Derived from Sunflower Seeds, this oil is naturally high in Vitamin E. It offers skin smoothing properties and helps the skin retain moisture without blocking pores.
Walnut Husk
Made from the crushed husk of walnuts, this ingredient acts as a gentle physical exfoliator that assists in the loosening and removal of dead skin cells.
Wattle Seed
Wattle seed comes from the acacia tree native to Australia. It is ground very finely and used in our walnut husk exfoliator as a physical exfoliant to polish your skin.
Ylang Ylang Oil
Ylang Ylang oil is an ingredient that is used in many different products for its unique, exotic aroma. It provides a sweet scent and is included in our age reversal cream and facial moisturiser to contribute to their natural perfume.
